Story #77

Q: How did you decide on your undergraduate course of study?

A: Based on what was the closest to Chemistry and also involved a certain degree of Engineering. Looking at the courses online and reading summaries help in the decision making process as well.

Q: In retrospect, what did you think were the most useful lessons/ skills/ knowledge you'd gained from your undergraduate education?

A: Data analysis, being methodical in my approach.

Q: How has your undergraduate education influenced your career choice?

A: It helped because I took a module on marketing and was pretty interested in it.

Q: Briefly describe your current job scope.

A: I manage social media pages and websites for my company, and I generate leads that can be turned into customers by doing advertising and content creation.

Q: To what extent is your current job related to your undergraduate course of study?

A: Not related at all - Majority of the skills required to perform my current job was acquired through on-the-job training.

Q: What are some additional areas you wish your undergraduate education could have covered?

A: Perhaps more understanding on the corporate world and how each department works to prepare the individual for the working world.
