Q: How did you decide on your undergraduate course of study?
A: Couldn't get into Medicine so chose Life Sciences.
Q: In retrospect, what did you think were the most useful lessons/ skills/ knowledge you'd gained from your undergraduate education?
A: Being exposed or informed about the breath of knowledge in the field. Knowing where to find the required info. Learning how to read journals.
Q: How has your undergraduate education influenced your career choice?
A: Provides me with the pre-requisite for the job (job required a Science major).
Q: Briefly describe your current job scope.
A: Research Administration: Managing research outcomes database and generating reports; Ethics review application; Grant application and management; Dissemination of research related information; Organising research related events eg seminars.
Q: To what extent is your current job related to your undergraduate course of study?
A: Not related at all - Majority of the skills required to perform my current job was acquired through on-the-job training.
Q: What are some additional areas you wish your undergraduate education could have covered?
A: More computing skills though I could have chosen computing modules.
