Q: How did you decide on your undergraduate course of study?
A: Was already doing Commerce in JC so choosing Business seems natural course plus interest.
Q: In retrospect, what did you think were the most useful lessons/ skills/ knowledge you'd gained from your undergraduate education?
A: The thought process and understanding of the various topics gave an appreciation of certain corporate decisions.
Q: How has your undergraduate education influenced your career choice?
A: Not exactly. Career choice came about upon chance and being at the right place, at the right time with the right people.
Q: Briefly describe your current job scope.
A: Currently oversees a team of 12 to provide sourcing services to a financial institution for 13 countries in APAC.
Q: To what extent is your current job related to your undergraduate course of study?
A: Not related at all - Majority of the skills required to perform my current job was acquired through on-the-job training.
Q: What are some additional areas you wish your undergraduate education could have covered?
A: Networking opportunities would be good. Social skills and etiquettes too would be useful.
