 Q: How did you decide on your undergraduate course of study?

A: I was looking for something flexible that is pervasive amongst industries as I wasn't decided on which specific industry I was keen to join. Accounting is an area that is applicable to a wide range of sectors and thus the choice.


Q: In retrospect, what did you think were the most useful lessons/ skills/ knowledge you'd gained from your undergraduate education?

A: Presentation skills such as clarity, confidence, articulation of ideas.


Q: How has your undergraduate education influenced your career choice? 

A: Conversations with peers, seniors, alumni, professors have influenced my decision.


Q: Briefly describe your current job scope. 

A: Looking at the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and how they can be improved/ strengthened to meet the Organization's objectives.


Q: To what extent is your current job related to your undergraduate course of study?

A: Totally related - I acquired the skills required to perform the job through my undergraduate education/ The course was a pre-requisite for my job.


Q: What are some additional areas you wish your undergraduate education could have covered?

A: More opportunities for job attachments, as on-the-job training provides good insights into the industry/ career path.
