Q: How did you decide on your undergraduate course of study?
A: On advise of a counselor, I decided to make career in Finance.
Q: In retrospect, what did you think were the most useful lessons/ skills/ knowledge you'd gained from your undergraduate education?
A: The movement of capital in market, various products for investment purpose, Risk components, Diversification, Optimum utilisation of the available funds, etc.
Q: What are some additional areas you wish your undergraduate education could have covered?
A: International Markets, various regulations and barriers, etc.
Q: Briefly describe your current job scope.
A: Dealing in various derivative products like Swaps, Options, Forwards and also Money market products with various Investment banks and HNI Clients. Performing the verification of trades electronically.
Q: How has your undergraduate education influenced your career choice?
A: To a great extent, as the theoretical knowledge gained during my education is now performed practically which is helping me understand the various dynamics of the market.
Q: To what extent is your current job related to your undergraduate course of study?
A: Totally related - I acquired the skills required to perform the job through my undergraduate education/ The course was a pre-requisite for my job.
