This career sharing session is brought together by National Youth Council (Singapore) and they have helped summarize some takeaways: 1) Working in IT will give you exposure to other industries such as Finance, Healthcare, Engineering etc. 2) It is possible to enter the IT sector without prior experience as there are many different areas which do not require technical skills like coding and programming. 3) Give yourself a chance to fully immerse yourself in the job before deciding if it is a suitable career for you.
